Good game until I hit a wall on stage 15, after clearing every stage perfectly and earning most of the achievements. The hero's lack of having any reliable way to penetrate through large groups (besides the ridiculously weak fully-upgraded TNT) to focus fire was not an issue until the hacker shows up. The fact that they stand still while hacking essentially makes them invincible. It's a fairly well-polished game if you ignore the engrish-y dialogue but it really just devolves into a grind-fest near the end.
Nice.
I was just messing around, thinking I had the game beaten, so I gathered a full stack of giants to destroy the last prefecture, just for kicks. Afterwards, when the boss appeared, I just sent in the giants to decimate his rolling ass. No causalities, awww yeah.
Stop making **** excuses for the creator of the game, if I can play Crysis on my computer, I should be able to play a simple 2D flash game with the quality all the way down, no voice, no special effects, in a chatroom with 12 people and chat muted.
The problem is the game, there is no excuse for this amount of lag. Fix it.
Find some decent beta-testers, this game should have never been released, it is not on-par with the quality that is expected of a SCGMD game. This lag problem is out of control, fix it or quit while you're still ahead, Shinki.
Haha, oh wow. One match later and I get 500 points. Now I just have to go through the next 20+ levels for the hard badge... NOT. I'm hoping I never see this game again.
I got the ticket, but only got 94 kills so no badge for me.
As others have said, it's a very bad fighting system. It's just too random. About half the time, unless I have a spear or am fighting an archer I'll charge an enemy and Achilles will perform a shield bash, which I like because of the stun. The other half he'll swing his sword, which I like if he OHKOs the enemy. However, sometimes the enemy doesn't die and I'm left wide open for attack... unless I could block with the shield I'm holding. Apparently, you didn't get the memo that the primary use for a shield is blocking, not bashing. Now I'm being constantly kicked by the increasing amount of enemies appearing on the screen.
I beat it first try, by following another poster's advice. Stick to the far right side. Wait until it's clear then drop. When the buzz-saws start moving, wait on the far-left side when you're waiting for everything to clear, one hazard you won't have to worry about. Still not what I'd call a "buried treasure".
I thought the bow/chainsaw combo was the best, until I found the grenades and AK-47. I mowed down runners and zombies attacking my base with the AK-47 and took out massive crowds of 7 with the grenades. Those long reload times are justified, I would not have made it to Union City without that (My barricade actually went to 0 and my allies ran away so I had to finish the day on my own).
Don't listen to Saul, I have not had any compatibility issues with any games on this site when using Firefox 3. Fun game, can get the card and 5 points within a few minutes.
I agree, I was frustrated with this game and was thinking about forgetting this card. That is, until I saw someone post a strategy that worked easily for me on the Kongregate forums. Make sure you get 2 cruisers, a controlbot and a repairbot then keep all those alive while upgrading your base to full before you build any more cruisers.
