Love the game as a whole. I've thoroughly enjoyed every iteration of Cube Escape, which is saying something, since I usually don't like escape games. I think part of what makes CE unique is its weird, slow, creepy atmosphere. I always felt like I was thrown into each situation, with the primary goal being to figure out what the hell is going on. Until the 4th chapter, I felt that this game was the most refined iteration on this theme. Unfortunately, the timed sequence seems a bit counter to everything I have come to expect from the series. Overall, this was a good experience, far and away better than most of its contemporaries. However, I strongly urge you to consider adding an option to remove the time limit. Even if it gave a slightly less rewarding ending, I think it might be worth the time of implementing it. 4/5
As with all games, would be better with a mute button. The gameplay is fun and the music nice, and everyone loves upgrade systems, but the option of listning to other things while playing games should, in my opinion, alway be present.
Clunky controls and a camera that is apparantly opperated by an intoxicated noodle, plus a hair-brained boost system make this game another in a long line of racing games not worth playing.
