ALSO, make note to look ahead to when you plan on upgrading to another ship and try to NOT repair your current ship so that you do not waste your money... (you get NOTHING for "trade-in" on your current ship... its as if you sink it when you buy a new one)
The game's trading mechanics are completely AWFUL. do not go into this game thinking you can "trade" your way to the top. just go and blow other ships to pieces and sell the goods you collect from their wreckages, then repeat.
