@sebine, nerdluver, and tehbomb, Give this guy a break. This is one of the best first games I've ever seen. He has new features, no glitches, and excellent graphics. Unless you can make something even nearly as good as his, you have no right to insult it.
2nd ending: Once you grow up, return the way you came and you'll blast off of the planet. The people will mourn as you died, but it will not snow and they will leave quicker.
I'd like it if the graphics became different as the creature evolves. IE- metallvl1=trampolines and shields plantlvl1=pots and thorns beastlvl1=birds and evil birds metallvl2= steel bars and spikes plantlvl2= leaves and venus flytaps beastlvl2= pegasi and dragons....
I'd like it if there were also permanent upgrades, such as better defense(sandbags-brick-metal...) longer field of view(goggles) and the second trooper should be an upgrase too.
Quite possibly the best shootorial based game ever made. (mostly) original graphics with good death animations and background, multiple weapons, an actual way to win, and possibly best of all, YOU CHOSE TO USE THE TEXT TOOL INSTEAD OF THE STUPID BRUSH FOR WRITING! Great game, 3/5.
My suggestions: Slow down everything. Darken the background to make the enemies more visible. Use arrow keys and make it autofire to make it more 1942ish.
I'm kind of dissapointed that there is no real ending... Nothing happens after I finish level 20, not even a "congratulations! You have completed the game!" message on the title screen. I was hoping for a little cutscene like at the beginning.
I wonder how they recruit guys to drive tanks and planes through tons of massive guns to a base where they then(if they survive the giant guns) explode. What's behind my base that these guys want so much anyway?
This game needs a level select or at least some proof that you beat the game. Once I finished I had nohing to show for it and I couldn't even retry some of the more fun levels without replaying the WHOLE GAME. 5 for concept and gameplay, -1 for lack of level select feature or any proof that I had finished.
Good game, if you plan to ever add on, make collisions break off parts of the earth and asteroids and slightly improve graphics. Explosions and different types of asteroids would be cool too.
