This is the best flash game I've ever played. I am currently level 51 on Kong, and have been here more than 4 years, so this should carry a bit of weight.
During my time, the best flash games have evolved from a simple concept and execution to one that inherently involves a commitment of time. I don't begrudge this change, as I WANT the developers to be able to make profit.
This game in particular has an excellent balance of strategy and rpg, with a time commitment that is reasonable and justified. Building something feels like an accomplishment. Feeding my crew feels like an accomplishment. These things feel REAL. It's a fantastic game. Devs, make a 'pc' version and I'd buy it.
let me clarify my previous post. For the hard bad: 1) save some dough (5k+). Buy the power boost, the mid-air boost, and the stop-in-air boost. 2) play each hole perfectly. IF you mishit, hit the exit to menu button. From the menu, click 'play' and then continue. You'll start at the beginning of the hole you screwed up.
The hard badge is extremely hard. Unless you cheat. If you don't be the round fast enough, exit the round, go back to the menu, 'continue', repurchase power up, and do it again.
Made it to 68 and then lost through attrition. I had to sell most of my towers to keep up with spike/monkey wave spam in the latter rounds. Still... /flex
