Decent puzzle. The music gets very repetitive very quickly, I wish I could turn it off without turning off the sound effects.

Ramberg, thank you for clearing that up. I completely misunderstood what one of those unlockables was.

"Is one of the unlockables letting you know where you missed some planets to visit? That is a really irritating acheivement." One of the earliest achievements lets you see which planets you have and haven't visited while you play. That's extremely useful. One of the last achievements lets you view which tournaments still have missed planets, and that one is almost useless. It is unlocked so late in the game that most people will probably have visited every planet already just to do enough achievements to get that unlockable.

"codeguy physics has nothing to do with where the planets would be in real life" In real life if two planetary bodies are 300km apart, they crash into each other. There aren't any solar systems where the planets are as close together as they are in this game. Planetary position within solar systems has a *lot* to do with physics.

I can't believe that anyone is expecting realistic physics. If the physics were real, all the planets would not only be moving, they'd be too far away from each other to be even see them. It's a game. Just learn the rules of it. If you think the rules could be adjusted to be more fun, sure, that's fine. But “fixing” the physics would result in a game where the ball easily orbits around a planet because there are *no* other planets within a million kms.

I find the last two levels a lot less fun. The game really isn't playable (to me) without the guidance line. It's so short by the last couple of levels that I can't get any closer to a gold medal on my tenth try than I did on my first try. I'd really appreciate it if the lines didn't shorten so much at the end.

I think part of the confusion over the games physics is coming from people not looking at all the planets. Bigger planets do have more gravity than smaller planets. This is clear from any level that only has two or three planets in it. I think people are getting confused because they only look at the closest planet to the ball. Yes, that planet that the ball is heading towards is small. However, there are several other planets on the other side of this planet. They are exerting gravity on the ball too, so that's why the ball heads in that direction even though there is a bigger planet in another direction. Same thing with suns. A lot of the suns are in the center of the screen. Thus, the gravity of all the planets averages out to the middle of the screen, making the ball go near the sun more often than the other planets. Check out the levels that have no sun but lots of planets, you'll see similar results with the whatever planet is in the middle of those levels.

The physics are horrendous. I know because a guy on a bus once explained physics to me. He said that anything moving faster than 200km per hour turns into chocolate sauce. No chocolate sauce = terrible physics.

Suns just seem to have more gravity because they're more devastating. When the ball starts heading towards a planet you don't really think about it and forget it quickly. When the ball heads towards a sun you beg for it to miss. It's a much bigger deal, so it makes a bigger impression on us.

I really don't like the distance achievements, especially since they're required to get a badge. Badges shouldn't be built so that you just play the game over and over and over until you get lucky. That makes the game tedious.

No, Wintercold was right. Spikes cost 25, but they only make 10 for the kills. The other stuff can make money infinitely because they never run out, but spikes cost 25 and never make more than that. The end of round bonuses aren't enough to make up for losing 15 on every spike you buy, so there's no way to win the game with just spikes.

Nightbringer, level 8 is about using gravity. Leave one portal on the ground for all three platforms. As you jump off higher steps, you'll get more speed to get to the next step.

After watching a run through of level 37 on youtube, I know why I can't beat it. Frame rate. When you have a low frame rate, the time it takes to start running is longer, but the energy fields stay on for the same amount of time. I turned down my graphics as low as they will go, but I still have trouble making it. And because the frame rate gets worse over time, I have to close my browser and reload the game if I don't make it on the first try.

Getting through the energy field in level 37 is driving me nuts. Especially since I have to do everything else first.

The animations are more than just busy work, they are where the challenge of the game comes from. You can't just work as hard as possible, you have to use strategy. You have to plan for the animations and work around them.

That's the most fun I've had getting a Hard badge. Instead of doing some arbitrarily hard task, it led me to some fun exploration. Very nice.
