@Talysman I think the idea is to give people who are outright buying gems the extra advantage of saving a few, and the rest of us can just figure out that complicated math on our own for which is more efficient.
How does the offline auto-progress for linked accounts work exactly? Do you just have to have your last session be on mobile and leave the auto-progress option on in the gear menu of the app, when you close the game? Im pretty sure I did that last night but I was still on area 1 when I logged in kong this morning. Is there more to it?
The stars indicating new gear seem a bit glitchy recently... yesterday it was on random items and now its on like, every item.

Ohh yeah.. this game. I remember why I never beat it now, I got 90% of the way through and lost my save file. Thats not the game's fault though. Glad I came back to this, its still an awesome game.
