I was having the same issue as many comments, of no instruction or even indication of my money. All areas now seen filled with color were white and devoid of text. For others reading, fully refreshing the page seems to have fixed the problem so far.
One bug I've found so far, speeding up battles seems to allow for more enemy attacks; I believe this is due to the bleed ticks occurring at a constant rate with or without the increase and thus the enemy living longer, but it's possible that the loop timing is just off. Also a request I would have is some way to zoom out or possibly clicking the map to move to allow for traveling greater distances in one action, I can already see that the pathing can handle it when going around a long wall. Other than that it sounds like you're already adding the other major suggestions I'd have, I've been looking forward to this sequel since thoroughly completing the first and will likely purchase on another platform once I finish this play-through, thanks for the awesome games!
For anyone who wants a pause button, clicking the "build" button after you have some other pop-up open will allow you to keep that pop-up open and do whatever you want while the game is paused for building.
As far as I can tell mini-marts exist within a space/time bubble, may want to save those people the hours that pass them by while they shop in x5 mode at the same rate as x1. And another much less important thing, why does barbeque sauce reduce the price of bamboo trees? Most of the upgrades seem to actually make sense with their corresponding perk. The janitor issue and not having to care about your guests whatsoever have of course already been mentioned, but besides those things I thought it was a fun game to spend some time on and hope to see more.
You should have made the puzzles less addicting or the game longer; I'm not sure how much more time I can afford to spend sitting here trying to make a picture out of the module selection screen now that it's over...
Not being able to see the bottom item in my inventory gets a little old, having to equip to move a less important item to the bottom every time I want to switch back after trying on something new.
For those like myself who can't load their farthest save, refresh the page and you will be able to start a new game and possibly load other saves. It's just once you click the broken load button that a new game won't work.
So my 2 save files still exist, but after restarting my computer for the first time in 4 days I can't seem to load my farthest one, the load button just keeps flashing? The other still works, so it wasn't from deleting them or anything.
@Akreb Ah thanks, that makes sense. I guess it seems like we fight them so often that I assumed they were just another, extremely high hp, enemy. Also the fact that they constantly re-spawn after death made me think they weren't persistent.
As much as I appreciate the help killing them, there's a bug with region bosses where their hp can start out only partially full. I believe you forgot to tell the game to reset the health bar percentage from the previous enemy. Maybe it carries over excess percentage hp bar loss from the previous kill or it might5 be when I die to an enemy before a boss which was low on health when the swap happens, but just something you might want to look in to. It's much easier to notice with the region bosses than any other enemy due to their extreme health, but it's possible the the bug affects the old enemies as well.
I don't think my pets are casting their spells. I can see the passives trigger such as "injury resile" but no indication of activated spells such as fireball, thunder, and ice spear. Also after looking up the definition resile seems like it applies to material properties and not situations such as damage return, maybe call it some form of thorns, bounce, or return affect.
I got a Goblin Warrior by just going back to an area where I could one shot everything, but considering how many things I've killed it was a very rare drop, 3 legendaries already and still just the one pet. His stats are getting to be decent as he levels up too, better than that werewolf someone mentioned. The biggest weakness seems to be that he dies after a couple of attacks at the beginning of every fight.
It looks like the only change to my old items is a significant debuff to both rings and necklaces, but seeing as I don't yet have a pet or legendaries maybe those will cover the difference.
Haha, oops. I was so busy afking in this window for the past few days I forgot to switch to the updated version. Wonder if it's worth upgrading my original game or if I should keep that other window in its own persistent little world...
I'm a big fan of afk games, probably originating with my time playing wc3 custom rpgs, and aside from those I believe this is my favorite. It has a good combination of being able to afk as more of a secondary activity while also keeping the player busy trying various stat combinations and gambling on upgrades. Thanks for this great game. Now if only I could become an "elite merc summoner"...maybe make those legendaries you mention for the patch have stat multipliers instead of just flat amounts?
So when I beat the first level the game breaks and I fall instead of starting a second level. I can't do anything but reload the page... not really sure what to do at this point.
