The game may not save correctly all the time, but the badge does! I finished levels 1-6 on hard and then closed the page. I came back later and tried beating level 3 again on hard, but it didn't add anything to the badge (that's a good thing), so I closed the page again. I came back the next day and beat level 8 on hard, and it added it to the badge!
TL;DR: You can close it and come back! The score doesn't matter as long as you remember which levels you've beat on hard.
I played until I didn't have enough energy to keep going. I doubt I'll play any more. Games that use real-time energy bars should be playable without paying anything.
So how do you actually get a ruby note? I've gone off several ruby ramps, haven't fallen off at all in the level, and I still don't have the achievement. And what makes a ruby ramp show up in the first place? I'm pretty sure my first playthrough on the Aerodrone song didn't have any at all...
Nice concept, but poor implementation. You need to make it clearer that all four pillars need to remain untouched, and point them all out, because I didn't even notice the rear pillars until I had hit them a couple times going "wtf?!"
Better yet, remove the rear pillars altogether and extend the boundaries to the edges of the front pillars. I can't even get past level three because its impossible to drop it straight down and the construct is nearly as wide as the safe area. 2/5
1/5 just because of the Dream World challenge item. Dream World is unplayable without paying for it and doesn't belong on Kongregate. This is where the ads pay for the site and give the devs some money, not where the devs get to say "pay me if you want to play". Set up a PayPal Donate button or gtfo.
No tooltips for the upgrades. How am I supposed to know what they do? 1/5 because the shoot-and-bounce theme is getting old, the music loop is hecka short, and I can't even slightly control the boss like in Toss the Turtle or other SUCCESSFUL games in this genre.
PROTIP: To find hidden caves in the floor, you need to press while on top of them. You can't just run across them and expect them to open for you. My last one of these was just east of the lowest ahmni pole.
Haha, thanks the Kong staff for adding it. ^_^
