I rarely ever comment on a game, but this one moved me. I thought that the minimal graphics were nothing but lazy programming at first, yet they allowed one to use imagination to fill in the details. The spiders weren't just little octopus looking things, but snarling vicious monsters looking for prey..
What moved me most was the lover whom I had to save. Dying a thousand deaths on spikes or at the hands of a fiend was nothing compared to the pain I felt when I knew I had travelled too far in the level, and had to turn around, listening to Katherine's (my ghost) gasp as my gaze sent her back to the pit of hell.. The ending was suitable, though poignant, as such that she would not be brought back to life, but saved from eternal damnation. Hope this comment helps!
