Once Caravan X a major route will open up to you. Go to Hara purchase at least 4000 excess fuel. After that go to Sekir Bashka and Abu Kirdyk and sell 2000 each. After that go back and refill fuel at Hara. By the time you return much gold would have had been mined. Purchase the gold and sell the fuel. Bring the gold to Qubba, go back to Hara, refill fuel and wait until gold is converted to Jewelry. Purchase the Jewlery and sell it. Then start the process all over again. A big advantage to this is that the market for gold and jewelry is completely to you since no caravans go through the mining towns once X is destroyed. Just make sure not to let any caravans into Qubba before you can purchase all the jewelry!
first try to upgrade your cannon to 2nd to the last one (stay away from your space station) then upgrade your shield once stay near the enemy base and earn money, get smart missles and triple shot then upgrade your allies to maximum, after all that upgrade your main weapon to maximum, and upgrade your shields a bit more and you should turn out fine.
