Oh god... After beating elite, thunderstorm, and getting halfway through fuel of war, my saved games all disappear... So now I have to complete elite AGAIN, and start Fuel of War all over...ugh...
Does anyone know how to prevent your computer from erasing saved files (on a Mac)? This has happened to me a few times with other games too.
I got it to load earlier, but now when I try to load it, it just stops loading once the bar is like 90% full. I tried refreshing the page and it just stayed in the same spot. Anyone know what might be the problem?
I got both badges on my first attempt... I don't see what exactly is THAT difficult about it. Just stay alive and don't bother trying to aim too much; just hold down space and dodge their attacks. Although I do agree that a slightly faster respawn time would be useful, and perhaps it should be a little more easy to maneuver the guy.
I also agree with TPau and kingbilly, I spent more time trying to figure out what items to use than I did actually fighting... Other than that I think it's fine.
Is the number of yellow shapes that appear just random? Because I got every one, and hit no red shapes, but only finished with a multiplier of like 68 or so... I don't see how people are getting multipliers over 90 and such...
Hmm, is this a glitch? My population is over 2000, yet it is only going up by 4 at a time, instead of the usual 5. Isn't that only supposed to happen if your population is in the 400s? Or does it stay that way even if you get back over 500?
Enrico, why does it need to have wave information? That doesn't matter at all. I think it's actually nicer without it.
The structures fade out so it looks more realistic (like Earth is actually firing the defenses), and if the badge was made into an impossible badge it would be the easiest one there.
I like it how it's not as generic as most other TD games.
Burnacid, it's best to put it in a long passage way. What it does is, when triggered, it will roll in the direction of the guy who triggered it, and keep on rolling, damaging everything in its way, until it hits a wall.
It would be nice if we could re-arrange the skill points we've received. That way I'm not stuck with the few decisions I made in the beginning of the game when I didn't know what I was doing.
Otherwise I like the game alot. I'd say a 4/5, since it could use a little polishing in some areas.
Just beat Apocalypse with over 100,000 money left over. Took a little while to find the right strategy in the beginning, but after that it was easy. 5/5... a sequel that is longer, has more building/research types, and enemies would be nice.
I definitely prefer the third one, but I think both of them are very nicely done. And I haven't really had any problems with lag either, despite not having a particularly fast computer.
Learning how to use the other buildings properly helped me alot in getting the impossible badge. I advise anyone else going for it to max out the flak and shield recharger buildings, then have the flak shooting the entire time. Also don't waste money on upgrading your main building's shield recharge rate until later on.
