Don't put quick-time / quick-click events in a Flash game. The engine is not fast enough to support level 12. 1 / 5 stars. As a (hopefully) helpful suggestion, read up on UX design --- buttons should be sized in proportion to how important they are. The click boxes for the objects in level 12 are too small to be able to click effectively, especially because the objects are moving, making the level aggravatingly difficult at best and impossible at worst.

The fact that your ammo is limited makes the game at least difficult enough to take away from the fun, if not actually unbeatable. I'm an excellent touch typist, and got up to requiring 70 letters to advance with all reload and shot count upgrades, and I still couldn't reload fast enough to take out every letter, even with using space for the full-reload ability. If you want to make a typing skill game, then remove the ammo component - the shooting aspect is fine, but it's no test of my skills if I am consistently out of ammo and have to wait to reload. If you're trying to make a resource allocation (e.g., don't shoot purple first since they're slower), then typing is not the best application. 2/5

A fun game at the start of it, but the game-stopping glitches and the monotony of the last few achievements make it lose a lot of its value. 3/5 for now. Additionally, the game would be greatly improved by making the screen and characters bigger and accurately logging mouse clicks. For example, when clicking on the icons at the top, the game also registers them as clicks on offices if the view is scrolled down far enough that your skyscraper is taller than the screen. Similarly for when I click on a blank area in the popup (e.g., if I miss the button I'm trying to click). Overall, a very good start to a potentially extremely fun game. Just fix some of the issues in the next version / edition. :)

As an extension to my comment, I'm sitting at the end of the game with $21k - more than enough to buy any one upgrade, and I could buy several of the upgrades for that amount. This is after buying all upgrades and full health before the final wave. This clearly demonstrates that there is much more money available during a run-through of the game than can be used. Give players something to do with that money!

Good start, but not enough depth to make a good game of this genre. You need MANY more upgrade levels and more upgrades; possibly power-ups, which would let players handle eletro-stall; enough enemy density to make the chain lightning upgrade seem more useful (possibly increase its range?); and an endless mode (via procedural generation of waves).

The music is absolutely NOT in sync with the keys. This makes a HUGE impact on playability - I'm listening to the music for both the timing and the next key to hit. Either make it a silent quick-time event game, or sync the music up correctly. Otherwise, it's just a waste of time that I trudge through to get the card. 1/5

Feedback pt 2: 6) The Regeneration upgrade seems underpowered -- +0.5 HP / nutrient at the max level? 7) Describe how the daylight mechanic affects the levels. It's only mentioned that it does, but not how (unless I missed something?) 8) A quibble, but you have daylight going the wrong direction - e.g., the west coast of the US sees dawn before the east coast. Hope these help. Good effort thus far, and could be a pretty cool game when you get out of beta. 4/5, keep up the good work!

Feedback pt 1At the expense of duplicating other reports, the following improvements can be made: 1) Describe explicitly how to split cells. 2) When you split cells, the weapons on the "parent" are locked. I presume this is a bug, not a feature. :D 3) Have the Guardians keep spawning antibodies, rather than making the pod disappear --- this is especially important in light of (2). 4) The controls for selecting new pods could use some improvement, though I'm not sure how offhand -- maybe allow assigning keystrokes to switching different weapons? At the very least, though, if you want players to switch pods during play, then don't require them to kill the current pod and then select the new one in 2 discrete steps. In the words of Yatzhee, the less clicks the better. :D 5) Descriptions on the upgrades need clarification / expansion and especially statistics. (I presume "Breathing" is the energy use due to movement?)

Well done! It was interesting to watch the story. Very well-written, and good voice acting. The only critique I would give is that the story has some gaps in it; it seems like the ending comes on too fast, so that diminishes some of the impact of the ending. But that aside, excellent game - 5/5! Thank you!

While I'm all for watching the little guy run and jump around with the speed of a rabid meth-addicted chipmunk on acid, when you make a platform jumper game, the first and foremost rule is giving the player precision of where their character goes. When I essentially can't control my character for shit, you deserve to get smacked with the "BAD GAME DESIGN" stick until you learn better. 2/5 - woulda been better if not for the shit controls.

Time limits are too short, since you have to find the enemies before you can kill them. Also, there's no "repeat last level" button, to allow you to retry the level you just lost on, which makes it frustrating. Also, for whatever reason, playing the game made the YouTube I had in the background stop.

Don't even bother with this game. When you start the final sniper level, you are sent to a third-party website, where you wait for the game to load, so you can play through it again while watching the ads on his site. Add to that: 1) Head shots are worth *less* than body kills. 2) It's not readily apparent that you're supposed to snipe the guys in the yellow ties. 3) Totally illegible text. 1 star!
