I fail to see what the appeal in all these Factory Ball games is. It's the same thing for every game, just a few new tools/puzzles here and there. Why should I play 4 when it has the same graphics, puzzles, tools, and music of 3?
Next game, please don't spam your dev title/logo everywhere. When I first saw it, I thought "Cool, nice logo." After about the 30th time it popped up on the Iphone, I was sick of it.
You should be sure to include an actual freeplay mode next time. One where there's no chance of loss or something. At least give us a 100 day thing. Secondly, look into a button or something that stops the bus. I've clicked some stuff on accident and the bus wouldn't stop if I clicked something else. Finally, give us some more depth to the peripheral charries. Do the traditional RPG route and have little text blurbs like in Elf Sim Date.
And so with this game, I pray the wave of "art" games ends. There were some good ones, but the wave of people trying to be artistic for popularity and fames sake was just infuriating.
1) Quest items should not be sell-able, and the game shouldn't recommend I pawn that sucker.
2) Not all battles should be won by circle strafing around the enemy.
3) The creator can do us all a favor and think up some more creative enemies aside from small turtles and slugs.
4) When an NPC asks me if I want to fight, I should be fighting the NPC. The NPC should NOT disintegrate into pumas and insects like something from "The Exorcist".
5) People who are kidnapped should be taken to a cave or dungeon, not the THRONE ROOM OF THEIR OWN CASTLE!
6) Stats should ALL play a vital role in progressing in the game. Also, you should get more than one upgrade point per level up.
7) Make sure the time period is clear.
Normally, I hate the choose your adventure stories/games with a passion nearing religious. However, your break from traditional mechanics has definitely made me love this game.
The change I'm referring to is your handling of the ending system, where all the endings are kept in a neat, organized list. With normal CYOA books, I'd be heavily confused as what I needed to do, because they don't usually keep things so organized, and leave me flipping through the entire book in order to try and piece together the main "main" storyline, instead of settling for my 3 page story given by choosing the option of "poke bear".
*MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD* Thanks to this organization, I was able to easily figure out that Future Todd was you playing a simulation game, and most of the story takes place from the viewpoint of the program.
My favorite was the first level, where you have to get the key to the dark tower from yahtzee by finding a Wii game he'll enjoy. Of course, this is impossible, so just take the pair of fake tits from the mantle and smother him at 5AM
