A visual upgrade might be amazin. Even an 8-bit version would be cool, and it would be easy to animate as well. Please integrate a stats page!(like cookie clicker's stat page). And making the upgrades have numbers so you knew how many times you had upgraded them would be useful too.
Just jumped in, found all of my items, upgrades and money reset but my idle power at 6.83*, or 29,140. Wtf? My active power was either reset or in the zero to 100 range. Anybody else have this happen? :P
Could you add a "gem percentage chance" counter to the game? And with it a "gems per minute" counter based off of the chance and how many ores you can destroy per minute?
Great game, though it seems like the very 1st swarm mode is too easy. Was set 2 by the time i realised i had way too much money to spend, hadn't died yet and was killing everything in 1-3 bullets w/ a 90 round magazine. Was ranking up super fast too. Maybe my framerate was low so it was in slow motion? Felt like it. Nonetheless an excellently designed game and I only wish there was a "Missions" swarm like many are talking about/requesting. If te dead bodies blocking your shots is annoying you as much as it annoyed me, use the "Tin Man" mod. It makes bodies fall completely apart to make it a lot easier to shoo past,as long as you dont mind how gory it looks. :D
What if the assault class had grenades as a killstreak? And also the AUG HBAR is so overpowered, i can go 1VSall on easy and not die once since the enemies die w/in 2 seconds. Also glad that any lag just slows down the whole game instead of just you, so you have time to react. They should make it so dead bodies only reduce dmg, not stop bullets entirely. They should make the AI move around more, it seems they only really move if they see you.
Best Scout Weapon: Throwing Knives!!!! PLEASE put them in, they would be AWESOME!!! Either as a primary or a secondary maybe, have them do 50 dmg? and have it so you can retrieve them from the ground or from ammo packs. It would be AMAZING if these were put in!!! :D
Familiars have no stats. They should get stats soon tho, too many people think they are useless. Maybe they should add stamina/energy/honor to you, or increase your attack/defence by 5%-25%? Just a suggestion.
Sweet game, but wish the upgrades changed your look, there was mines, that you could have pirates fly to all 4 directions, and that there was a refill-all button right after each day/death.
Quick fun, to jump on and off easily, especially w/ the quick "quit" button, and not very hard altogether. Staying prone in a good position lets you kill tons of people, kinda aggravating if you dont know how to kill campers, camping is too easy in my opinion(i got the 1st smg, 2nd weapon you can buy, and camping lets me kill 4-10 people no sweat(half of the time its double kills on TDM) so maybe something should be done about that?
Great game, beautiful dialog, awesome puzzles w/out those annoying ones where you have to get the movement JUST RIGHT to complete, no rush. and I loled at the last level. I went "Every man for himself!" and had them all run and jump and keep jumping as soon as they spawned, so I kept trying to 'mario' hop them to get there, and eventually i did, w/ about 20 dead jacks and 2 survivors.(one somehow got onto the ledge, but he just stood there, so he was useless.) All in all i give this game a 5/5, it was very fun. yet emotional, too. I hope they make more of these, cuz you rarely see these kind of puzzles, and this was the only one where they thought deeply about the puzzles AND story/dialog, and the music was great too. Good job, 2DArray(the author. are they the same person, or did 2DArray just find and submit this?
Umm... Why is this a Kongregate Challenge? It's just a acheivement. Most games have them. There's nothing special about a 20-point achievement. Really, this is probably a poorly veiled move to make people play, for no reason. How much money did they pay you, Kongregate?
Oh, and 1 more tip: maybe turn the guy in the background of the inventory into a pic of your guy w/ the equipment you are putting on him. Just a thought. :)
Pretty good for your 2nd game, u should have it so when you let go of a item on top of another, they switch. And I bet if u change the sell area into a toggle, so when you turn it on, the items you clik on are sold automatically. Oh, and playing swarm makes the game too easy, if u use a good melee weapon. If there is a flamethrower, then GOD BLESS YOU. If not, then PLEEEEZ put one in. That'd be epic. XD
laggy... bad graphics... no storyline... bland colors... only 2 sounds that aren't the annoying song... all in all, this game sucks. How dare it call itself a tower defense?!? (if this is a new game designer, here's a tip: use colors with more contrast. no1 wants to play a game that bores them just by looking at it.) 2/5. i'd give a 1/5, but it at least worked.
laser's useless... the exp level only really counts, i think, when you are about to win, seems that the higher the level, the faster the uzi. i wish that there were more guns, like a shotgun, or a railgun. :]
