you could make something like a heritage system, like hard goals that get bonus on your next run

the Ice region is tough, specially the wolf spawner
Personally I'm basically just sprinting for the down stairs once I reach those last levels. Unless you've gotten really lucky with drops or have some kind of god build going its unwise to try to actually clear them fully.
