I am one who doesn't feel that being able to select your deck will make things better. Rather, you will see only a few select options in each 'color' being played. The game will become even more boring even faster, as soon someone will have 'solved' the game to come up with the best choice out there, and then you'll only see slight variations on the deck, or decks that try to meta against it.
Unless the author intends to continuously put out updates with new abilities (which will unbalnace things, generally), the card set is too small to be creative with decks for very long.
