You should heal between every level or every other level. With a one point healing every fifth level, health upgrades aren't that useful.

What's that? An totally immune undead king gaining no damage from any source and scan reveals 999999 HP and 999999 MP ?!?! Calling it last resort after killing him twice (first attack leaving him to 0 HP, the second giving 1 HP?!) ...
Well.. it is his last resort! I hope you already beat him, if not, please check the book of chaos boss guide :D
