I absolutely loved this one! Such a simple game in theory but the addition of the moveable screen and reversed controls amp up the difficulty and reel you in. I played this one over and over just to beat my high score and see what kind of tricks were in store. Gotta give it a try if you have the NOOK Color tablet.
Wow! This game is beautiful! The tilt feature adds a difficulty I would recomend to those who are seeking a challenge. Playing the touch pad control mode could go on for hours and hours though. I killed myself on purpose to claim the score and switch modes because it's just too easy otherwise. Great game though with great style and music!
I loved Meteor Storm! This upgrade to the arcade classic is good looking and responsive. Those who like racking up high scores and throwbacks to the old school genres will enjoy this one enough to give mulitple playthroughs.
G-Switch is on of my favorite 2D side-scrolling runners. The levels provide enough challenge to keep you interested and the music, sounds, and controls are excellent for the NOOK Color tablet.
Looks good and may entertain on the PC version but the tilt control for mobile devices is just not quite responsive enough to keep you interested. A little tweak to the sensitivity would actually make this one enjoyable to play.
Great turn based puzzler with quirky sounds and animations. It's simple concept and design makes picking this one up easy for any beginner and, with the number of levels provided, challenging enough for fans of the genre. Works perfectly on the NOOK Color tablet.
Silly animations and carnivalesque tunes make this goofy idea interesting enough to play several times over. The challenge is moderate and scoring points is about all there is to it. Works well on the NOOK Color tablet.
Simple idea but very addictive and fun to look at. Leveling up is limited due to the 31 day play limit but this provides the player a chance to go back and change up tactics. Guick fun and operates well on the NOOK Color tablet.
If you are a fan of drop-down puzzlers you will enjoy Orange Block Attack. The simplicity makes it easy to pick up and play and the 12 levels only take about 6-8 minutes to complete which makes this one perfect for a quick on the go score buster. The NOOK Color tablet supports this one perfectly.
Classic arcade looks, sounds, and gameplay make this title worth gaving a shot if you're looking for something to kill 5-10 minutes. At times it proves difficult to avoid taking damage with any tactical maneuvers you may try. This makes the game not only difficult to play but also frustrating.
"SWEET!" was exactly what I thought when I saw that I'd be able to play something so similar to Bit Runner on my NOOK Color tablet. Unfortunately, this game simply does not work for it. Or at least there is no way, that I know of, to get past walls. Which basically makes this game unplayable for mors than 30 seconds. Since there is no instruction or training provided, I have to assume this is an isolated case for tablets which is what I based my one-star rating on. I would probably be inclined to rate it four/five-stars if I could get my hands on a working version.
Absolutely loved this one! The simplicity in gameplay mixed with comical animations and precise touch controls makes this one an instant favorite. There are unlockable stages that provide a great challenge and combo chains are incorporated for those who love beating high scores. Works perfectly with the NOOK Color tablet.
This seems like it would be par with typical spot-the-difference games but unfortunately I would avoid this one if you were considering playing on the NOOK Color tablet. The mirrored image is not formatted to properly fill the entie touch screen making it extremely difficult to see small details thus hindering the user's ability to score well or even advance to further stages.
