yes start a new shop with customers and shop at lvl 1 again.... just switching screens or reloading the game doesnt help... time doesnt seem to help either, just turned the game back on in the morning, clicked continue and they are still only buying the same 2 items they did yesterday :)
Edit: I hate not being able to fulfill my promise, but my computer had to be reinstalled and it didn't exactly go as plannend... I'm afraid I won't be able to finish the new update. Sorry :/

at first the random item request works fine... just after an hour or so the randomness (is that a word?^^) seems to get stuck... when you reset the game it starts normal again untill the customers get stuck again on 2 different items
You mean reset as in start a new shop? Or if you refresh the game? Also, have you noticed any difference in switching screens alone like to upgrades and back to the shop? So many questions ^_^ (And I checked, it's a word ;)
i noticed that after some time (after the shop has been at lvl 10 for a while) the customers start wanting only 2 different items all the time... first time i noticed it they only bought item lvl 4 and 9... this time they are only buying 5 and 6.... atm item 5 and 6 sold out half the time and all other items have 900+ for sale
The thing is that the item a customer asks for is randomly generated, so I have no control over that what so ever. The only solution I can think of is to put in the option to turn the rng off so the items the customers want will go from 1 to 2 to 3 etc. This will take me a little time though, but I'm working on it :)
a "kill myself" button would be nice ... when you get so strong that nothing can kill you anymore there is no way to use all those souls you collected and the highscore isnt updated :)
There is infinite attack upgrades waiting for you at increased cost? can always go further then godlike, 1 shotting bosses :) but if you are such strong you should have meet the endboss bringing you to ascension aka,"kills myself" unlocking yourself a harder game mode with stats reset :) Not sure what you mean with highscore, might wanne pm me the details of that.
you dont lose the homes on death tho ^^ only if you load a save game
the items im certain dont work are frost ring (25 round frezze) frost armor (-40% hp) and the -att and -def items... enemies could do dmg from round 1 while i had the ring and thier stats and hp didnt change at the start of the battle with the other items
the effect from the other items isnt so easy to see so can't say for sure if they work or not except the revive item that still works :)
At this time you lose your homes when u die. Used to work well for endgame players, but im not sure, havent played endgame in a bit. Since the gold nerf it might be to expensive for the gain so i think i will increase the cost and make it not reset on death. As for the weapons which weapon did you have? i think they work just fine, some might be hard to notice, fire will only increase your attacks, you might not have noticed the increase, phoenix will only activate below 20% you might be 1 shot from 20%->0% then you might think it didnt do anything.
