For the Desert Eagle challenge on Gizma, I found that a level 5 Coil Caster worked great - it puts up a bubble/shield that blocks bullets, and does the shooting for you while you concentrate on not getting hit.
I find myself wishing that everything lasted a little bit longer. I put out a cool creature, and he dies in 1-2 turns. Most enemies die in a single turn. If I get a good hand, by the time I lay down everything, my opponent is down to 2 health so it didn't matter anyway.
It seems the choices I make in how to accelerate or steer, or even the order I make purchases in have very little effect... not a lot of fun in that, keeps it pretty much 1-dimensional... "earn cash."
This game had some promise, but after 1-3 shotting dozens and dozens of rats and frogs with no end in sight or variation or depth, I had to call it quits.
Much better than others' attempts... but still...
Boring enemy AI... and grinding reputation so you can beat the game? What game designer thinks that grinding reputation is fun?
Game feels exciting until you realize that beating career mode is just re-playing old levels to get enough money, and beating the challenges is just trying to defeat the crappy AI that is controlling your own bots.
