throwing javelin? no, thanks. tried that in my first playthrough, long ago, and it was no fun at all. just charge at them - as when you hit them, they don't shoot... (and the sword has suprisingly nice reach). the downside is, that makes the game rather short, heh. i admit it's well balanced, but somewhat lacks the feeling of acomplishment, imho.
well, honestly, this IS terrible. not even because of the grind, but simply cause of the shitty interfce - too much crap hidden in tiny tabs, that i would never find without pointers - that's not how it should work to be at least a bit enjoyable. generally, it's unplayable without zoom. maybe i missed some features cause of that, but the game feels really unbalanced. also, moving pieces is a nightmare, with constant ,,can't build if last building not finished" gimmick. i don't get it, why is this crap server-based?
Most of the comments and feedback is positive. Yes, this game is developed by 1 person, it is far from perfect. The grind is another bad side of one developer, not being able to create as much content as a team could - but it is planned to be fixed. Tiny interface is also a UX problem, which is planned to be fixed. So, this game is not final. It is being developed constantly and still much to fix. It is a MMO, all players can fight each other in PVP area. And there are some hard bugs with the tower building, occuring rarely.
Catastrophey, we're already being screwed by excessive randomity, any upper limit is out of question without creating lower limit as well. my proposition for easy scripting: eatch batch should contain one of the 3 shortest expeditions (5, 8 11 min) and one of the longest ones (60, 58, 56). that alone would set a range 94-239 minutes - so, effectively no more than 3 hours to clear each batch if you're smart enough to always leave one expedition from a previous day. and we could take that further, by adding another fixed one with a middle value (about 30min).
Dogmusher, we get 4/8/12k stars daily, depending on banner used... if we actually play. personally, being too lazy for that, i stll got ca. 400k only from the trader.
joero0, super-basic version: hp artifacts are for tank(s), skill for everyone else, mixed ones (with all 3 stats) are trash for reforging.
now, imho, you shoul never exchange gems, green ones are the most valuable, while red ones the least.
Oeffinger, that's just bullshit - even if you screwed something, like, by not chosing an archer as a strting character, there's idle money generation (castle), so you definitely don't need any ****in grind AT THAT POINT. you may however need that annoying restarting later, in some game modes...
to get the snowman you'll have to wait for about half of a year, cause that thing comes only from one or two damn seasonal events. not sure if it's possible to max it in one year, i got 82 last winter
heh, can't you people just ignore Fog, like a normal person? it's simply a nice extra shot at event shop - better than trader. besides, loops are what makes it fun 2/3 of the time (when it's someone else stuck), while shuffling is what makes it shitty ALL the time.
wow, when you think Vasant creations couldn't be any shittier, he adds another layer of crap... this guy has real ,,talent" to make people suffer in different ways, not just with idiotic writing.
Naud1234, heh, yea, i did 85k puzzles - cause i sort of liked it. can't imagine doing it just for stupid badge. seems that Kong is trying to ,,cure" compulsive badge hunters in a hard way... (and that other badge must be way longer, as i'm only at 400k kills. that million may take 2-3 years)
talking bout quantity, there are still those damn individual limits for each material - like i'm at 1000 hourglasses, grrrr. please devs, at least tell me there's no limit for ammo...
from the beginning of may, i keep getting significantly shorter expeditions, is that only me? like, i could understand 3 or 4 days of bad luck, but ten? and with first day of month... fishy.
