re: Bruno - I think the problem is the "auto-centering" nature of the controls.
If I drag my mouse left, the plane banks left while the mouse is moving, but then stops banking once I stop moving the mouse (even though I haven't lifted the button.) If the plane were to continue to increase the bank attitude while I've got the mouse button down (as if I had moved the flight stick left), it would make the plane a lot more easy to control. And once you lift off the mouse button, the plane can return to the leveled off attitude it has in the game. Check out the mouse controls in the old "Wing Commander" games to see what I mean.
Same with the throttle - it should stick to wherever you leave it after your drag.
Like I said before, this one's a big step up from the last Cessna game. I even found my way to the other airport and made it safe on the ground. Keep working at it!
Never mind, the game is a mess. Elevator and aileron control w/ the mouse is wack. The throttle snaps to about 70%, which is useless. No rudder. No throttle control for inside cockpit view. Plane goes 0-320kph in like 2 seconds, and full throttle makes it climb infinitely. Nice ding for the landing gear sound effect, tho.
Thanks! I was stuck at performance and adjusting the controls since cessna. But all you say it`s true! I still have a lot to do!
Can you give me one sugestion? What you think that works better, a joystick on screen to control the plane or improve today`s mouse movement?
Anyway, thanks for the comment! I will work on all issues.
Thank you, I wanted to make it difficult, but not just throwing the player into a hard level, it was meant to scale.
