I loved it. Got really hard towards the 15x levels. One bad point - didn't feel like much REWARD for completing it. Second bad point - the "trial and error" aspect. I like puzzles that CAN be solved with smarts, not ones that REQUIRE you to guess occasionally. But c'est la vie, other than those two points it was the best game I've played in months and is getting favourited!
I love it, but it's the first one I gave 4/5 for a Nerdook game. There is so much going on, there needs to be more obvious indications/reminders of what everything is and what it does. An infobox on hover would be appreciated for ALL the bits and bobs.
3/5 - The first two were so much better. Agree that text walkthroughs are better than video, but any game that requires you to read the walkthrough to complete it is being *too* smart for its own good.
It's all been said before. Game really needs tweaks for the sequel. Really wanted to rate 2/5 but you know what? I didn't HATE it. Just will never be one of my favourites. As such, 3/5 is more accurate.
2 suggestions - 1 it isn't entirely intuitive how the "scoring" system works, and 2 when a zombie lands on a mine the faded out flag/indication of how many bombs are around it may be a neat bonus in THEORY, but in practice it is confusing when you have a lot of zombies to escape from and I regularly find myself running over it thinking it is an exposed "safe" block. Either leave it as a flag, make it safe, or make it exploded with no NUMBER.
Easy badge? Should have been given Impossible points for sitting through that boring game :( what a disappointment, I normally love stuff like this, but it was pretty much. Buy Minions. Tell Minions to Shoot. Tell Minions 2.0 to Collect. Wait. Wait. Waaaaaait.
