Skills need a rework. At the moment they are counter intuitive for idling. Lots of other idle games give skills that benefit idling, perhaps give people 2 routes for skills, one active and one idle. At the moment, my skills are the most unused part of this game.
Great game, really addictive but once you hit a certain point (one day of playtime) there's not really anything left to do except for repeating the 6 areas then ascending. If there were some tougher dungeons for milestone ascensions (e.g 1st, 5th, 10th) that gave better rewards and better gear it would give you something to progress towards.
Annoying how your characters automatically go for the next kill rather than pick up loot right next to it, which can mean whole maps of return travel if you chain from room to room with fleeing mobs. An autoloot toggle would save lots of grind time :)
@apatheticgamer nobody said anything about instant progress. fyi I only play idle games on here so yep well aware of what idle games are. However, most have things to keep you occupied for more than 10 minutes every 8 hours.
Game is fun, but you run out of things to do really quickly and then it becomes just an afk simulator until you can afford more upgrades. Unfortunately, that means afking for 8 hours at a time for any noticeable gains. It's just not fun with so many roadblocks and so much time doing absolutely nothing.
People asking for an update weren't expecting you to add cash shop items instead of making the game better. This game is not worth spending credits on in it's current state. It desperately needs updating with many of the suggestions in the comments being spot on. The dev tells us he is updating game and gives us cash shop items. Nice man. Way to keep in touch with your player base.
I gave this game a good 30 minutes. But after rolling 0 after 0 after 0 after 0 after 0 for the whole time I played I can't possibly put it down to a 30 minute run of bad luck with a massive amount of 0's rolled.
I swear, it's not rigged, it's all based on your reflexes. But "target fixation" is a real thing with the human brain! Try closing your eyes on the rolls, it really works! :-)
It's unweighted, totally dependent on your reflexes. BUT, there is a real thing with humans called "target fixation" which often makes us choose the thing we are actively trying to avoid. Sometimes playing with your eyes closed helps even things out (negates your brain's tendencies) but, with practice, you actually improve a lot at choosing accurately.
It's actually all dependent on when you click. Try playing with your eyes closed to negate the "target fixation" thing that happens when you're actively trying to avoid 0s.
Tried following the help guide for splitting waste and research from the metals lab. Build exactly what the picture shows in help, still get both waste and research from each conveyer when the build is EXACTLY the same as help.
There's a lot more coming to the skills system, we've just got a lot of new features on our plate at the moment :)
