Just won on try 18 with all upgrades maxed except fly upgrade. There was a bit there (maybe around distance 12000?) that was pretty hairy, lost most of my lives, but did the rest on just one life - nothing much showed up, a few pterodactyls, some rocks and some stone arches.
Hmm.. I had the same 2/3 of game showing problem in Firefox - so I tried loading the game in IE, and it loads just fine. So looks like a Firefox-specific problem?
I didn't like this game at first, because I didn't understand what was going on. But something made me kept playing - there was something that promised. The more I play, the more I understand how the game works, the different tasks I have to complete, and so on. I agree that the store is pretty expensive - but the goal isn't necessarily to collect a bunch of things from the store, but to go through the task list. I'd suggest making the tutorial mandatory, and allowing people to opt-out if desired.
I'd love for there to be a "bugs remaining" tally on badge #20 (Terminator). I've completed the game, and all the other badges, so I'm really just playing to get that last one....
