games like this are the reason I go to Kongregate. Truly a breath of fresh air. great mechanics, complex system, great replayability. As others have mentioned, could benefit from some polishing - tutorial, clearer instructions, more gradual progression of difficulty, but this is already a fantastic game and has to potential to become a true masterpiece in my humble opinion. Adding a compelling story (who is the protagonist and why are they going 'East'?)
fantastic job! great art and fun game. puzzles were sufficiently challenging to keep me busy without being frustrating. Thank you for your work. Looking forward to episode 2!
Game crashed when I completed a quest but had a full inventory (no room to receive the reward)... I refreshed the page but there was no savegame to load, so completely lost my progress! great game otherwise, keeep up the good work!
I think some balancing of the equipment is in order... there is no point to get any armor more than leather (penalties are too harsh)... and no sword is really viable other than rapier...
guys seriously this is what kongregate's glory is about! very impressive! great design, good difficulty level... actually a fun game! There is still space to improve by adding flavour with a more involved story, but even as is 5/5 for me.
can't open dragon's den.. tried everything - re-opening game, reloading, re-opening browser... sounds like savegame is corrupted :(
otherwise cool game, would continue to play!
excellent game although not yet polished enough to be bought. there are still many bugs to exploit, same events happen too many times and can be abused (such as the spices - one can buy an unlimited amount of spices and then sell them away in the same town for a virtually unlimited amount of mils..)
I love the concept though, and a lot of work has been put into the execution. Like I said, still needs polishing.
Little issue here - the huge disenchanter doesn't seem to disenchant. Found it several times and, pretty as it may be, it doesn't seem to do anything. Or perhaps I haven't figured out its use yet. Who knows?
I think this may be a bit of an issue with the game - once you become capable of brewing the "oil of enhancement" potion, you can easily add die to your weapon such that you can one-hit everything in even the bottom level of the unfinished dungeon... Was it meant to be this way? it seems a bit unbalanced.
Otherwise, awesome game! I was never disappointed by any of your titles, keep up the good work!
Oh, and what a surprise on floor 100... :)
it would be nice to have a downloadable version of this game, or at least a version that does not stop when we lose internet access... so unless there's some sort of a multiplayer aspect to it, it could be a "stand-alone" game.
I was very reluctant to even attempting to play this game when I saw this guy tear its limbs off... But given the cleverness of the puzzles, and perhaps some form of unadmitted fascination with self-mutilation (?!??), it quickly became an addicting and entertaining endeavor. Five stars.
give it a story about spaceships and using gravitational pull to navigate and collect energy crystals wihle avoiding aliens, upgrades which allow you to shoot out a bomb, or blades rotating around the ship to kill some of the bad guys and progressively harder levels and missions, and you've got yourself a five star game. but great work for a day though!
Awesome! Thanks for trying it out and glad you enjoyed it!
