Some bugs: Got the assembling achievment before actually assembling the car (had 98 or so, but not completely) and the perfect achievment before getting the one for buying all weapons.
I'm not sure but it seems like I have a bug with the Fume King? I've killed a pretty darn large Fume many times but never got the trophy, it's my last one..
Hah, again, sorry for the gift. I had a cool thing planned, but it didn't go well, so I had to go with removing the hammer from the menu and putting it there as a "gift". I know, what a crappy gift, I guess it should've been a cake after all =)
To all who say this should've won : Thanks for your support. However, there were no judges in the competition and because of cheaters it all was a little messy. So thanks for saying this, but don't blame anybody, as it was people who decided.
Ok, seeing that this game gained some popularity, I'll try to change some major problems in this version. I don't want to work with it more though, the code is crap and I am already starting to forgot AS2 :)
On the contrary my friend. This contest isn't ultimate in any way other than that it is for newbies. I am not saying the game is gonna be soon, I'll focus on easier projects now, but I am quite certain that one day I'll be doing this game again. I really love the concept, but I sucked at programming when I was doing it.
Lol, sorry for that. That's a crappy reward :D I had a good reward planned, but after two nights of programming, I found myself just a few moments before the contest's ending, without the reward coded. I am really just a newbie, I never had any idea how long would particular parts of the game take, so I couldn't plan it..
I'm apologize if I upset you, I was not trying to spam. I post it on there every ~3 hours and I usually talk with people about it afterwards. I just want more people to rate it so the downraters don't affect it that much (as it's a big problem in this contest.) As you can see, people actually mostly like the game, but the ratings drops rapidly every hour. Again, I am sorry for bothering you.
Thanks for all these helpful comments. This version is unfortunately final, but I am planning to completely rewrite this game into as3, changing the gameplay from scratch. This will help me, so thanks. I understand the game as it is now looks very scamped, but it's really just my lack of experience, I worked as hard as I possibly could.
I knew this would come up. We were discussing this with my friends and we decided for arrows. It might not seem like a right decision, but the gameplay makes much more sense with arrows than with mouse, arrows just need a little more time to get used to.
Well first of all - either missiles or enemies aren't being removed. Or it's sth else - because with time, the fps drops down.
And besides the nice background, this game is nothing but Shootorial with different graphics.
