I am having issues with the arrow keys becoming "sticky" and sending my hero in one direction for a while. THis usually ends with me running into a creature I cannot defeat. Maybe a mouse click in the direction you want to go in.
If you are having a problem installing Unity, you need to go to their website and download the web installer. Close all browsers and THEN intall the plugin. It will not install when browsers are open. Figure that one out. Everything else seems to be able to install with a browser open. Odd.
Well, the "parody" is the song in the background. It is about Runescape. If you listen to the lyrics, there is one that states "and this game really sucks". Other than than that, the game blows. -1/5
Slightly better than your original version. Keep up the good work, you are getting better.
You should lose the ammo/reload option. Instead, put in an upgrade for your weapon to do more damage. The reloading is a pain when you are being swarmed by the baddies after 5 minutes.
Not to mention that you can "trick" the enemy ball into rolling along a set of lines and finish much of the board before you have to even have it chase you.
You might want to put in something where if it heads in the same directions for a while, it changes directions so it is not trapped.
I don't know what issues that everyone else is having, but I am able to play the game just fine. The objective to the game AND how to play are in the instructions.
The "enemy" is attracted to you, if you keep moving away from it you can win the game easy peasy. I finished the game in about 20 minutes.
There is a bug on level 18. I hit the spring while jumping and it shot me through the spikes. The flea is stil alive and able to move around above the spikes. Can't complete the level because I am above the spiks.
I played this game back in the late 80s early 90s when it was a commercial DOS application for window 3.11
I went back into my library of games I once played but now use to fill up boxes in my storage room and dug it out.
This is the exact same game I have from that era. Sound effects and all.
Good luck convincing people that you made the game from scratch. But if you redid this yourself as a flash program, then major kudos are owed to you. Just make sue that you tell everyone that you remade the game. Do not claim it as your own.
