My first review complained about the score not "banking" and then I realized it was tied to the difficulty level. This is hands down one of the best arena shooters I have ever played. The only real complaint is the barrier to open the final batch of upgrades (9k) isn't even needed to beat all the bosses. 5/5
Score does not bank and that is a major waste of time and effort. If I go in with 500 score and dont buy anything, it should still be there when I return.
Your game has a memory leak somewhere. I have a Core i7 5th gem with 12gb ram and 2gb gpu, 100mb down internet, and even on the lowest settings shockwave always crashes eventually. And yes, I have the memory for the game set to unlimited. 3/5 for the game, 1/5 for the memory leak.
One of the greatest flash games I have played in a very long time. Progression speed was right on schedule without too much grind, the special weapons were almost all useful and you are actually able to use them regularly rather than saving them up, and the passive bonuses were scattered throughout the tree rather than 1 row being all money, the next row being all health, etc. 5/5
Good game BUT the colored gemstone collection artificially lengthens the game more than is necessary. The gemstones make the game excessively grindy. 4/5
I have the same gripe everyone else does... buyers remorse. Saved up and bought the laser beam and discovered the beam wasnt constant, which makes the weapon pointless. Resell value needs to be much higher.
Every single time I play I have to rebuy every upgrade. I already bought magic fire #4. When I leave and come back I start with magic #4, but I have to rebuy 1-4 before I can buy #5.
As much work as I've put into this game, it really hurts to see comments like yours. If you do not enjoy it, that's fine. I make other games, maybe you'd enjoy one of them.
