There is so much wrong with this game. The controlls are sloppy and inaccurate, there tutorial is hard to read while trying to figure out the game, and no clear idea of what the goal is are just starters.
While I do agree with what you say,
I also stated that this was an old wip, which was far from even a finished prototype, and you should read the instructions. I only uploaded this because I liked the concept, and it was just gathering virtual dust.
If you had read the Description or Game News, you would have known that.
Finished the game on level 5 and without dying, the lowest life I got was 40. The upgrades are inconsistant and at times I wodered if there was any change to the gun at all. One gun upgrade shot up, down, forward, which was actually better than the spread gun, but as soon as I leveled up it was gone. Needs better upgrades, perhaps an upgrade tree, pause feature when your cursor goes off screen, WADS movement (or at least a keypad lock button for when your finger gets tired) and some sort of ending. (even if it just says thanks for playing) 2/5 and that is only because I love arena shooters.
I enjoyed the game. Definitely a little short though. More upgrades are the reason to keep playing.. perhaps an upgrade tree where you customize your own talents. 4/5
I really enjoyed the game! I mainly used the homing weapon and once I got it maxed out, there was no chance anything could survive. I would have liked to see a few bosses. This is classified as a bullet hell game, which it isnt... it is an arena shooter. 5/5
The game seemed to end abruptly even though I was clearly in control of the map. Not sure what happened. Mildly enjoyable but nothing worth replaying. 3/5
Even though this game is a repeat of Motherload: Goldium Edition, it was fun and well executed. My only complaint is the lack of WADS support leads to a clumsy feel to the controls. 4/5
Really enjoyed the game. Bravo for the paying attention to the satifying "snap" the sprites make when they die. The "cool menu" was a disappointment though. 5/5
