I'm liking this so far, but I do think the amount of metal needed to upgrade right at the beginning of the game is far too high. Personally, the amount of metal and gold should be switched as I'm getting far more gold than I need.
It's enjoyable so far though and I can see that you're dedicated to bringing a good experience to players, keep it up
