A solid interface, graphical style and original and unique real-time battle system completely ruined by the flawed game mechanic that is limited energy and pay-to-play. Has no place on Kong and a real shame as it would be a seriously good game, by any standards, if coupled with a decent game mechanic. Disappointed
I think this is great. The depth and complexity of the options available become slowly apparent as the game unfolds an more powerful ships with higher AP become available. I would say that all that is missing here is a little in the way of tutorial. I know it can all be figured out over time, but I bet you lose a lot of players early on as in the very early stages the game appears to be very simplistic. My advice? persevere for a great gaming experience!
This looks like a great game, and I loved the first instalment, many moons ago, but the combat is HORRIBLE, and I'm afraid I just can't continue. I'm sure I'm missing out on a great experience, but I'm just finding it all too much of a chore!
Veters, please ignore those carping and complaining about the manual resource collection feature. The game is, whilst very pretty to look at, quite a passive gaming experience due to the 'off-line' upgrading, etc. In fact, a little interaction here and there is most welcome. If these people don't want to 'play' their games, but just sit back and look at the screen whilst the program does everything for them then I would suggest they are playing the wrong genre, and should bugger off to the 'Idle Games' section. Remember that YOU are the developer, and if you feel a certain feature is necessary, then you should be confident enough to apply it to your product. Just because people feel that one way or another is 'the norm' it doesn't follow necessarily that it is also the only way to do things. People will always find something to bitch and moan about, no matter how great an experience you provide, so please: feel very proud of the game you have delivered.
Well...I came here for the badge of the day..then I stayed a bit longer for the second medium badge and the 15 points I needed to level up...then I stayed abit longer still to complete all the in game achievements. Compulsive is the word,I think. Well Done!!
Not normally a fan of the bullet swarm, but the joy of the badge of the day is that it regularly takes us out of our comfort zone! I thought this was extremely well executed and great fun to play. Well done!
Hmmm, all the commets here seem to be moaning about something or other relating to the content and/or length of this game - which I think is totally missing the point and spirit of this great little adventure. From my perspective this is an excellent game - well done Nerdook!!
