I have enjoyed all previous versions, the click and point genre, the mood and atmosphere set by the games. BUT??? When the fourth game opens to a puzzle where there's no real instruction, there's no clear or immediate 'logic', and there's no hint other than the text on the wall. It leaves me blank faced ranomly clicking a tthe five potential line markings and not even gettign a small clue on how to proceed or how to solve the puzzle... you LOST me. which is a DAMN shame. One star for impossible starting puzzle. Maybe on the LAST puzzle. but not to START the game. Bad form. Bad design.
Yet another cash-grab game front paged and starred on kong, this time disguised as a generic match 3 style game. I see no "RPG" element to this at all. It's a skill game, with fancy characters in a pseudo RPG setting, that's about the extent of it.
hm. I realize it's a 24 hour entry game but a couple tweaks like an improved range/swing sword and better armor. Maybe a slightly higher percent heart drop rate? otherwise quickie enjoayble game.
Unhappyest ending merits an automatic 5/5 from me. Little games have the balls to stick it in your face and say your gaming efforts can not save you in this post nuclear holocaust world!
the timed challenges are nigh-impossible with the extra seconds per stroke. i've used all the powerups and came in first on every hole in round 1, and my time was still a total of just above 500.
after a few days of playing and with the new features added. there is only one thing I think I might add. When breaking a resource down for 'fuel' or 'repair' that there is a way to track the fuel/repair levels without having to 'guesswork' at it. or have to click 'in and out' to watch where the resources filled your bar to.. only to have to go back in and click once or twice more to 'fill up'.
I eagerly await the sequel to Paladog -- "Roogue" where a misfit criminal kangaroo tries to mend his evil ways battling waves of demons and beasts and zombies!
Sadly, I can't add anything more to it or I would be breaking the rules of the contest, but those are great suggestions!
