"there are no penalties, the scoring system seems random," and "no reason I can't just click away and hope I hit" ; The penalty is at the end as your points scored is multiplied by your accuracy. If you shoot as much as you can to be fast enough your score will be only say 10%. Simply put, reaching max score would be through swift yet perfectly accurate firing. It even shows the math after you're done. If obvious math is random to you, I suggest going to school for a while again. Personal comment; This game does lack somewhat and IS another of many but isn't all that bad. It's a nice little test of skill when you have very little time left. I know, "tl;dr" and don't care.
Not a single problem on FireFox. Didn't need to install anything. If you can't make it run on firefox, go check your own failed PC... Oh, running Vista/7? If so, double fail.

AND! Rating low because YOU can't make it work is just.. What's the word? Retarded, I suppose. Here's the actual comment; It's a great game, fun for quite some time. Yet after a while it gets repetive. Once you get the hang of it, it's just chasing after gear while you run through the levels. There isn't that much to do, which is a shame. It broke my motivation to play at about level 20.
For Thuernman, it's just 19 levels, each awarding 1000 points, whereas the last level simply finishes it and does not reward points. The author never mentions 20 times 1000. You assume every level awards 1000 points, which I think is interesting.
To 'thisismysecndacc', please refrain from posting that many comments.. In ep 2 there should be no such things, that just crowds a lot.. However to your request to help, stationary 'buildings' don't drop parts at all. The big parts you must get entirely from battlecores, those big ships, in deadzones mostly, the deadzones are supposed to damage your ship periodically, but sometimes people bug out of the map and all sorts of things so they don't... You CAN get enough money to build a sizable ship out of basic shop parts, but they're not very strong. Simply by selling parts you don't really need. My best experience is that small beam parts combined with a large energy regeneration does high amounts of damage... Sector 100-130 seemed good for that... Did I cover everything?

My level 8 Half-Elf Priest got Fireball XX now, which totally OBLITERATES any enemy on the path... for the 0.1% of the times she uses it. The AI is still rather meh it seems.
It's really not hard to understand. My only problem is that it's a bit slow, and not the most challenging of games. I have to agree somewhat with 'aabcehmu', though I find his or her wording somewhat too rough.
I have contacted the creator of this game ( http://blueflameskulls.newgrounds.com/ ) and got my suspicions confirmed, this is simply stolen.
I do suggest reading his latest news, SoleSoldier. We laugh at you.
It's rather easy.. At any mode. I was hunting that mouse more than fighting really, but he'd never drop those amethysts which I'd need. A shame.

@ Inetus ; enemy misses depends on your defenses. They do miss. All the time with me. ;)
@ Unedningfear, Deadly Rook, Slatwob. While that Axe (Axe of Slaughter) is very high in damage, it's (nearly?) full physical damage. Personally I like Sword of Mastery most. 20% with every element, seemed to do overal the most damage.

People cheat. I got to around 3301 maximum reach, so someone skilled would get like.. 5000 maximum? It's just impossible to get to, well, millions.

@ Tyrantbane - 32 is jumping nonstop for 10 sec, 54 is hitting 3 1 4 , the meaning of life is 4 then 2, Programmer's credit is achieved by typing the name of the programmer, no. 78 is typing contra and 99 is achieved by doing all the other achievements.
