't was all fun, but the random misses were a bit frustrating, especially when using a weapon with low rate of fire while the zombie is pretty much in my face. Then, after getting the 2nd companion's gun and swapping it with the girl I had with me, his gun vanished entirely and instead held the leftover silenced SMG the girl had. Meh, I kinda wanted to see the gun I had to go through trouble for. Oh well, at some point I found "Thor" which apparently is an automatic shotgun. I never got to try it because when I tried to equip it, it simply vanished. Poof. Gone. This also occasionally happened with my armor, even though I'm very sure I did -not- click the trash button. Overall still a great game, just having its own quirks.
The API isn't very effective yet it seems. It says I have 12 kills most, while I clearly remember having over 200 kills. Also it pretty much freezes Firefox on startup and when leaving a server. About a minute of waiting before it goes on. Doubting between 3/5 and 4/5. I'll go for 4/5 because it got me hooked for quite some hours.
The secret levels are far too easy. can just quickly spam all the initial bursts in a corner, and keep the elements from wandering in is easy from one side...
Instead of a minimap, I'd suggest an arrow to the nearest shop (blue arrow?) and an arrow to the nearest enemy (red arrow!) so both are easy to find. A minimap would be useless if the enemies are too far for it. I also notice very little difference in effeciency of the pink/purple projectile weapons and the blue ones. Definately a wonderful game - if expanded that is. I'd love more weapons to try out, and definately a better power core (Mine runs out in what, six bursts?) Hope to see updates soon, keep up the good work!
So, after all enemy planes are down, I still lose half my own. Are these pilots trained to play Last Man Standing battle mode in the combat simulator?!
