Upon yet another playthrough of the game, I located an interesting bug. If you attack someone and the menu for Battle or Auto Resolve is up, you can press enter to go to the next month while in the menu. This means that you can do some weird tactics with that in mind.
This was nostalgic to play as I loved this game as a kid. My only issue is that I found out that you can beat every level by spamming swordsmen in one lane.
I just played through the game yet another time because it's so good. I just want you to know that. The only problem is that it runs out of content. After you get all the achievements, beat every mode, and become field general, there isn't anything else to do other than hotseat mode where you can play against someone you know (or at least I assume so as I haven't tried that). The graphics, AI, unique mechanics, maps, and flow of the game are so great. I hope that you can make more levels or a cardwars 2 someday.

I absolutely love the game. And I have for years. Although I do think there should be upgrades that include more levels, more races, an upgrading system, bigger maps, more challenging AI, etc. Or they could make these improvements on a second version of the game because this game has wonderful potential. I literally spent a week of my life making the final version of a board game based on this idea. I wish more could be done with this...
