This game is fun, but there are definitely things I don't like about it. I really enjoyed it the first bunch of times I played, but then I started to get really frustrated (like other people). The web falls apart in a totally unrealistic way, which makes it very hard to plan ahead (ie, a hit in the corner takes out the whole center of the web). I used the "4 corners" plan, which worked much better, but it gets old really fast. I also don't like that if you try to make a piece of web too close to another, the spider runs along, but doesn't make any new web. Still, I like the strategy component (eat or make web/which animal to eat). It's overall a very fun game. 4/5.
This game takes forever for anything to happen. I spend most of my time during the game reading other people's comments. Maybe my computer is too slow, but it takes about 3 minutes to get one tactical point. There seem to be lots of cool options, but I never get to try them because it would take ten minutes to get enough tactical points. And I know that someone with rifle 5 can't hit much, but he misses 5 times from point blank range? Lots of improvement needed. 2/5.
okay, but not great. needs some work. I finished first easily most of the time. plus, it's weird that you don't actually need to go through the gates, just near them. If it was harder, there was more to do, and the upgrades could be more selective (eg. improve accel OR top speed, OR weight, etc.). 3/5.
Fun game, but a few things hold it back. First, the AI is strange. If you play long enough (last mission ~10 turns), it stops trying. It makes no new units and just collects money. Overall I think it's too easy. There were only one or two missions where I had any difficulty (beat it on hard setting). I agree with moosefingers that the ending is kind of lame, but hey, I suppose the fight will continue. I enjoyed it. 4/5
okay game. I was annoyed by the continual "find the tiny area to click in to get the key". Once or twice isn't bad, but four times? The hardest part of beating this game is the need to just click with your mouse endlessly until you find the tiny things. 3/5
I don't understand why people like this game. It's incredibly repetitive and boring. On top of that, the controls are intentionally sluggish and unresponsive. And random guys come out of nowhere and kill you. 3/5.
I can't say I'm a fan of any RTS where the only reason the computer wins is that it has a huge numerical advantage to start, and not that it has any kind of strategic skill. 3/5
A little too random (like with the fat running zombies people have mentioned, and the fact that the first time through I kept finding survivors but no supplies, and the second time I kept getting supplies but no survivors). I found myself losing on a board miserably, then completing it with ease the next time. The only weapons I found useful were the .357 and the chainsaw. The UZI, hunting rifle, M4A1, and sawed off shotgun were all useless (I never found the bow and arrow with two playthroughs). I would say 4/5, but with the useless weapons and the over-randomness, 3/5.
Way too buggy. The combos don't work on my computer for some reason (keep resetting to 0 for no apparent reason). And the 5th boss? I push the arrow when the moving dot is on the arrow, but I still die. I don't get it. 2/5
Pretty good game. It got monotonous after a while. The money is way to easy to get and once you get black ninjas, nothing can beat you. That city should be much harder to take or the units much more expensive. Other than that a fun concept. 4/5.
This game is WAAAY too easy. After about level 30, I kept playing to get the badges, but I played half the levels on x3 speed because there was no challenge, even to get them glowing.
this game could be cool if it had some variety. maybe make a maze to travel through with electrified walls or something. as is, it's INSANELY BORING by the end. And the last endurance can be beaten just by traversing the edges of the arena. you never need to fire a shot once all the enemies are in the middle. 3/5
this game needs to get harder faster, and it needs to have a more sequential progression towards some end. other than that it's not a bad idea. but it gets REEEEAL boring waiting to get somewhere that you're not going to get.
