Quite interesting. Not quite original gameplay, but still interesting enough to make me want to play repeatedly. Perhaps have upgrade points for consistent clipping, and upgrade max jump length, or perhaps have an upgrade for a radar, detailing when next hedge is coming, and/or how high the next hedge is.
Curses! Got the dragon down to the fire head, then suddenly he spawns two fire bits on his turn and wipes out my party! (except for one berserk Matt, who died soon after)
This is quite an intriguing game for those with patience and intelligence. Currently stuck on level 18 (happy face), but the music is quite soothing and helps to take away the annoyance that the puzzles can engender on the players.

The wizard's power is displayed like that since its attack is a fire bolt that hits 4 enemies. So, in your example, one attack would deal 6 damage to 4 enemies.
Most aggravating features for me would be, if you go running past a target, sometimes you turn around involuntarily, making your attacks miss the intended target, and also that the weapons keep disintegrating...
