Great graphics, sounds, gameplay, controls, smooth and fun to play. Sometimes a bit challenging which is good. But still I have 2 complaints: 1. Not being able to move on to the next lvl when main objectives are done but side objectives are not. Some side objectives took me 20 tries (not shooting ones), not everybody will put in that effort and will get stuck. Besides this makes the side-objectives just as important and neccesary as the main objectives, I don't see the difference (need to complete all to continue anyway). 2. lvl 13, once again, side objective. Killing 50+ before time ends. This time not just very challenging but juist plain impossible. I kill every enemy within first second of showing up on screen, save nukes for them as well (faster then bullets+missiles) and even then I lack about 10 kills. Is the game even capable of generating enough enemies to complete the game, or is that the joke? Fun game but impossible to complete?

You don't need to finish side objectives. Just escape the level once main mission is done. I will make this simpler in next version.

Am I the only one who occasionally experiences some kind of lag during the game? Quite annoying, 1 out of every 10 or so cakes droppes 0,5-1 sec later then it should... Besides that (and I'm not even sure if it's the game or my pc), great game!

Ah now I see... they patched blosics 1, added a link to player packs elsewhere, updated the version number... and suddenly this is justified as a whole new game? grmbl

@Agentjake4: As far as I can see this game is exactly identical to blosics 1. The levels, the challenges and the bonus weapons are all brilliant but exactly the same. So... as much as I would like to give it a high rating as I loved the original I don't really see the point of this identical 2nd game?

Quite fun to play but a bit too unbalanced. I was too lazy to use spells and was able to beat the game without using any.... Even better: throw all skills in xp, attack, defence, speed, agility and once you've beaten the game you can choose any level, activate ALL extra's (minus zombie) and simply crush the opponent without using spells! Multiplying your XP so many times.... I reached lvl 50 after beating the final stage 2x like this... Unfortunatly at that point I realised the challenge was gone and thus I was "done"... 4/5

30 can be done in 3 moves. 1= cut just above lower left joint to just below upper right joint (diagnal). 2nd cut= horizontal below both upper joints. This should create a sliding triangle, falling on the ground acting as a ramp. 3rd cut= diagnal to the left starting just to the left of the bottem right joint -> creating a swinging block pushing the smiley over the ramp

Just finished it. And it sure was a fun game. But I agree it's my least favorite one of the series. It seems to me like the game is build so that we can keep playing and achieving stuff for weeks after we finished the original game. Skills: level 6, yet 74 skills still to get. Not even close to half of the awards.... Don't see the point for heroes.... rarely have the cash, and when I do I rather spend it elsewhere, and when I do place it perfectly without it causing a game over....it doesnt gain enough xp! I'm not going to play the game 20x over just to get a hero I CAN use, or some extra achievements that will barely make me happy. Nope, if I'm bored later this year I guess I will boot up the original one... or part 2 for that matter. Nice effort though. I really like this format for the game, too bad all the triggers (achievements, 80 skills, heroes) seem to be put for a play in the long run, not a single time from start to end (skill tree, 1 point each level).

Fast learner does work, but I'm not sure if the game is long enough to get to it's "break even point". Level 10 fast learner gives you 150% the xp you would normal receive. Which means every next level will give you 50% xp you would never have received. When that total bonus xp over time matches the amount of xp wasted to get to level 10, you will have met your break even point. Problem is: that I'm not sure if it is possible to reach that point without finishing the game.

Contra didn't work first couple of attempts but in the end it worked. Got none of the badges, it appears KG (and-or the game) are having some problems but these are usually fixed quickly. Try again tomorrow, be glad it's just a short game and didn't waste 5 hours :)

Tried almost everything but seem to be really stuck at level 21 (captured shipyard - very hard). The immens strength of all the waves seems to suggest you need warriors and either lots of them or highly upgraded. The weak points seem to be only physical and energy but a lot of waves absorb the other. Which suggests you need to use consecration, so you can turn the strongspot in a weakness causing all warriors to do 120-150% damage at all times. Yet they never become strong enough for wave 19 (next to last, only level where I lose more then 1 life...namely: all 17 monsters).... Anybody an idea :P ? Been trying for 3 days now
