Also, the controls may be a little jerky but I can play it on a touchpad with minimal errors on my part, and I think that says it all. Any game that can be played on a touchpad successfully has good enough controls in my book.
This is actually genius. I love it, it's tons of fun. Although sometimes the blocks I get can be totally aholes. But that just makes me want to play more. >:( I will win.
Also, (not sure if you guys have this programmed in already - if so, ignore me), but perhaps a very minor scale on your chance to get better fish (whale, noctopus, etc.) with your level? Nothing crazy, maybe only a minuscule change in percentage. Like I said, if you guys already have it, hats off to you, I'd just appreciate knowing that the higher level I am, the more profit I stand to make from fishing (besides just the chance of better market prices).
This is a really, really minor thing, just something that bugs me very slightly as a novice programmer. When fishing, whale, noctopus, cold eel, etc, are all in the plural when there's only one 1 in your inventory. Like I said, not a game break or anything, just a minor thing. I figure it's probably pretty simple to fix though. (if only 1 in list, show singular - something like that, I don't know).
It's actually a surprising amount of extra code to fix it, because of the way we made the display originally. We'll try to eventually fix it, but other stuff has to be done first :D
I have to agree with what I've been reading in the comments. It's impressive how fast you guys are pumping out updates, and how much you listen to player feedback. Really, it's an admirable trait now a days, since I'm sure most of us (myself included) are used to developers who don't listen to a word the players have to say, especially concerning game-break glitches. Anyways, this is actually a pretty fun game (come on, who doesn't love penguins), so keep up the awesome work. C: Can't wait to see this game get progressively better.
It would be awesome if there was a skip level button. I am so painfully stuck on Ball & Bat because apparently I absolutely suck at it, so I can't really enjoy the rest of the game because I'm stuck on that one stupid level.
Love the game, have one big issue with it: I would really LOVE to know what the heck storyline mission I'm on, have them numbered or something or something that keeps track of them. I hate not knowing how close I am to finishing the game.
*Shakes head* Didn't like this at all. If I wanted to play a game like this, I'd play Frantic.. Like stated by everyone else. It's just.. Bland. Repetitive, and I didn't enjoy any of it. Especially the damn bosses...
I feel stupid, but I was incapable of killing anything. They didn't kill ME but no matter how much ammo I pumped endlessly into them, they did not die. I just ran around shooting like an idiot.
Thank you, again! =)
