Darkgold1021= you are very correct in saying that combining lower grade gems with higher grade gems will increase its damage level. however you can only do this up to a certain point, and in the long run it actually does cost more than just savin up to buy an upgrade. and with making dual gems it all depends on what gems you combine. e.g. orange with yellow is great
