Boss 4: Cactus. Drop bomb emediately and try to kill before his second attack. Only doable the first few stages. When his needles start spraying you can go halfway between him and the bottom of the screen and be safe. Still might have to move a tiny bit to dodge though. Boss 5: Rock Monster. Try to stay hitting the red dot at all times but don't worry too much about it if dodging becomes a problem. Swing way left every time he starts shooting rocks out his arm to dodge between them easier and go back to red dot. When the rocks start popping up I'm pretty sure they come up based on where you are and where your going so get close and back up from him as the red spots show up. You can run through them after the come up but haven't disappeared yet.
These may be out of order btw. Boss 1: Giant ant thing. Stay in middle while bugs attack. Dodge to the right when he lifts his claws then back to center when he draws back. Boss 2: Tank. Stay to the very edge before he starts shooting but make sure your still hitting him with main gun. When he starts shooting move to opposite side of screen but stay as close to enemy bullets as possible. Dodge his all screen attack while staying near center. Keep in mind when he's about 3 quarters dead or so, he can start shooting rapid fire in middle of attack. Boss 3: Dirt Eye thing. Pain in the ass but stay calm and move left and right slowly, always focus on dodging during this guy. Killing bugs can be dangerous here, they take quite a bit of damage. When the eye shows up get about a quarter away from the bottom and dodge blue bugs while you do damage. Drop bombs on this guy every chance you get.
Impossible badge tips: Make the game lag with many tabs open streaming video or whatever you need to do. Boss attacks get faster as they get closer to dying. They also get more health per level your currently on. Keep this in mind when your timing your killing blows. I learned this the hard way on the cactus guy. I personally used the robot and was maxed out on stats when i accomplished this. I think the other guy is usable and has a smaller damage window then the robot but the damage output wasn't good enough for me. Liked to end the fight quicker, all matter of taste really. I'll be adding strategies for every boss in next comment.
Should make this into an action game, take out the turn based . This game sucks as it is. Wish Gamestop never bought out kongregate, was such a good site. The badges are jsut a waste of time anymore.
When your hero dies the countdown timer is shown in the middle of his portrait. Would be easier to see if it was in the top left corner of it. Overall great game and my new favorite since kingdom rush.
Also, the "lag" is near begining where first diagnal blocks show up, thats about it. The half screen of line disapearing begins right after first colored buttons appear, an continues as you see more objects onscreen.
Wish i read the comments first, apparently i'm not the only one. Great game, very challanging, especailly if your doin it in invisible mode;) Badge still doesn't work for me though.
I disagree with everyhting that SeilGrank said, but i'm having a major problem. Using firefox all latest versions of everything. My line isn't seen on top half of screen while i'm going. Makes it almost impossible to finish, even though i did an still didn't get badge not long ago.
Tips for Hard Badge: Save up 500 dollars right from the beginning for the cash ticket. Do this by only purchasing armor to refill your life at critical times. Use your elixir when necessary since the ticket uses your inventory slot anyway. Use the cash ticket on the very next battle and it will net you about 15X more for that battle. Always keep 500 in the bank just in case you see another one. Then upgrade to your hearts content while still only using armor ups to refill life since it doesn't negate any damage or anything else. When you fight the dragon (which I think is random) you can shoot for the divine edge but i managed it with an elixer and almost a full bar of health with all upgrades. I fought him around day 16 on like my 5th try. Good luck
