This one is still your best in the series my man. The music is a soft haunting quality and the graphics and scenery are just plain cool to look at. Survivor mode is definitely the preferred version because its just so darn fun to look in every nook and cranny to find anything you can in a world overun by the dead. The only problem I ended up having was that because of the sheer quality of the graphics when the zombie horde runners come out of everywhere it slows down my poor laptop so much that they all end up downing me if I'm unlucky enough. haha.
I really like how the story is progressing, its all a really neat sense of atmosphere. My only complaints are that the map system seemed backwards compared to the previous two because it was much easier to scroll over the whole map of the town and click on the marker of where you needed to go instead of scrolling through a whole list of places. Also I felt the need for more than one soundtrack, especially when the song ends, which leaves a vague sense of emptiness to the game until it repeats. (that being said I really like the music) Other than that, really awesome game, definitely as good as your other series!
I really loved this one since it shows what happened to the lone warrior after he abandons Leo in Armed with Wings 3. This seems like it was originally meant to be part of that one but you didn't have the time to implement it. I especially liked the conversations between Vandheer and him since they added extra poignant sorrow to their feud and how it contrasted with Leo confronting Network in the fact that while Leo seeked Justice and prevailed, the Lone Warrior was blind with revenge and was vanquished. Morals always make stories better. Good work!
All I can say is that this is just absolutely the most beautiful single piece of work on this site. Its all the makings of an epic adventure complete with vivid sights and beautiful, beautiful music. The characters are intriguing and multi-layered as well as mysterious, Network has got to be one of the single most epic villians of any online game ever with wicked theme music to boot. The story and dialogue is deep and enthralling and just pulls you in and leaves you with a warm feeling at the very end. Despite the glitches and uber difficulty at some points, they are negligible next to the joy of playing this work of art.
Thanks for the feedback, I will certainly try to do better next time. ^_^
