Here's my suggestion. Permanent upgrades. I understand the idea behind the reset, but there should be some (expensive and small) permanent upgrades. Stuff like "5% increase of Angel Investors Per Reset" or. "10% Decrease in Managers Price." And you don't lose them.
I'd like the ability to sell some of the things you've bought. Get some extra money to put it in something else to get a better profit, and then buy them back.
