Just when I thought the game couldn't get worse, Sep 1 rolled around and the medals got reset. I lost about 4500 medals in return for a legendary module. Given that I get on average 3 medals per attack, I have to attack FIFTY TIMES PER DAY in order to get back to my previous level.
Well, I've been patient enough and am quitting. Max HQ10 signing off...
ok... another whine about modules - I got a common level 1 pressure supercharger. I happened to have a level 2 & 3 & 4 & 5 common and a level 1 rare; none were the pressure supercharger. can you guess what level 2 rare I ended up with? that's right! pressure supercharger. the chances of that are 1 in 2^6 or around 1.5% if module chances were equal as you have implied. I should buy a lottery ticket.
This was a terrible update. To focus on one bad point, the war bases are totally unbalanced. I throw my entire army (max level troops, 240 space) at a base and get totally demolished (I'm talking 10% destruction). I've tried multiple strategies and get nowhere. Why? Because the bases have ridiculous module levels. AA towers with +60% range that covers the entire map? Rockets that are next to the HQ in the middle of the base and can reach my troops on the outside walls? Totally ridiculous, particularly considering troop modules are few and far between (my max troop mod is lvl 3 rare despite playing for months and having a maxed out base).
