Wow, just wow. I really enjoy puzzle games and this is a concept that I personally have not seen previously. I'm having a hard time thinking anything out in advance, so I find myself playing a couple of moves at a time and restarting. I could do this all night (and I just might...)
I'm not sure if it's just me, but the launch counter is not functioning correctly. It says I have 10 lives most of the time. It seems to catch up about every 5 or 6 launches, and catches up at the end of the level. Sometimes I think I'm doing quite well, and then all of a sudden it goes from 10 launches to "LAST LAUNCH" and I'm like OH NO!!
Though this game is beautifully put together and i like the concept, there are a couple of areas in which I feel it falls short. What is the point in using bombs if you have another black hole on your tail in less than 5 seconds? Is there a way to stop the black holes at all? I find myself just finding ways to trap the holes in innocuous areas rather than actually killing them, because they just respawn and I have to deal with them again. The time limit also bothers me, though I feel that that may just be a personal complaint. I feel like you could play more on the interesting puzzle aspect to this game as well. However, as it stands now, I feel that this game is not my "flavor." I don't know... It just doesn't drag me in and consume my time like some other games. Overall a great effort, but I feel that it's just not for me.
I'm not entirely clear on this but i think I found a bug: When you're putting fireworks together, you have a certain number of "skill" points (for lack of a better term). You use up your skill points putting parts of fireworks together. However, if you run out of fireworks, have no money, and have only used 2/3 skill points, you get stuck (at least I couldnt figure out how to get around it) and I had to refresh.
My only complaint is that when you reach a corner, sometimes you are trying to jump for maximum distance. When you hit that corner and spin 90 degrees instead of jumping and land in a slab of spikeys, it is kind of frustrating. However, given how the game works, I cannot offer a solution, and will therefore not hold my complaint against the developer. Good game guys!
I really, REALLY like this game. (insert secret end message here) and I was thinking that much of my time playing. A little dark and creepy, pretty original story. I love the perspective. the moving camera angles present an original take on the same side-scrolling perspective we've been playing for the past 20 years. Armor, I am rarely disappointed by your games, and this was certainly no exception. Keep doing the good work, and I'll keep playing!
You know, when I first started playing this game, I thought it was too hard. It took me 10 or so tries on each level to PASS, let alone get a golden soul. I'm starting to get the hang of this, and I honestly like it a lot. May i suggest a strategy guide? I was almost put off by how fast this game gets difficult, and it took a fair amount of pure trial-and-error before i developed strategirs that work
Very sweet. Very, very sweet. Smooth like butter, and very enjoyable. Reminds me of one of my favorite racing games of all time-- XG3 for PS2-- This game is in desperate need of upgrades and WEAPONS, MAN!! What's more fun than shooting the hell out of opponents? If you can't beat them, blow them up! There's no race like a death race...
Honestly, this game is freakin' addictive, but my controls keep sticking, which is absolute hell on the later levels. Me and this game have a love/hate relationship. Right now it's more hate. But just for now....
I find this game a really fun play, but there are a couple of things that just totally bug the hell out of me. First, I find the bosses very frustrating. most of the time I fall right in front of a boss, lose whatever class I have, and then I cannot jump high enough to jump on the boss without taking damage. I cannot even jump to the little blocks in the upper center area of the boss "room." Second, though I find the fact that the levels change each time they are played excellent in terms of replay value, I have lost 3 of my 5 lives restarting because I either cannot jump to an area where I can drop down, or the way down is blocked altogether. I honestly really enjoy the game play. I frickin' love it.
I love the concept and about half of this game, but the other half just seems like its a series of precise jumps that you have to do perfectly. I spent half an hour trying to get the last level because all it is is three EXTREMELY DIFFICULT JUMPS that half to be done one after the other. Very frustrating, but a loveable concept.
Okay, I don't know what you call this genre (in the same vein as the wallace and grommet inventor game and incredibots) but I LOVE these types of games. You've done a wonderful job with the physics and puzzle aspects of the game, but the design interface leaves something to be desired. You need a select tool. It really irritates me having to delete an entire construction for the sake of of scooting the thing .5cm to the right. Selecting certain objects is kind of funny too. It would also be nice if you could alter an element without having to delete it. Other than that, I really like the game, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!
Great game. My only complaint is that my computer keeps lagging and then snapping back to realtime, so it goes *frame*--*frame*--*fraHOLYCRAPWE'REGOINGREALFASTme*--*frame*--.... and so on. Fun to play, but the lagging irritates me.
One more thing that I don't think people have mentioned. Aside from the rough execution and very rough physics, I find it irritating that every time you fail, you have to COMPLETELY start over building your coaster. Even though you still have the ghost outline, it's irritating as hell to have to put EVERYTHING back together and line EVERYTHING back up again just to fail again and have to restart. AGAIN. I spent more time rebuilding the parts of my track that worked than the little pieces that didn't. Arrgghh.........
Sweet game my friend. I found it a little irritating that you still have to jockey for position with your dead rivals, and the languages are a bit off, but other than that stellar job my friend.
i think im glitching on lvl 25-- The ball rolls up and just sits on the hole. I've tried several ways of beating this, and i get the ball to the hole, and it just sits there. kind of frustrating....
