@atedude if you click on the upggrades the info screen has "+" and "-" buttons that allow you to increase and decrease the strength of that upgrade, from level 1 up to the level to which you've bought it (from you've said, that should be max level)
Loved it. It had ragequit moments, I won't lie, but the last few levels blew my mind (especially level 60). You'd be surprised how simple the first set of levels is after you beat the game :)
Is there any end to this game? I'm pretty sure I've gone through about 8 "universes", but it just seems like an infinite number of "universes" with the exact same level...
@Tetris1D: Hmm...I suppose that, by incorrect, I meant it literally. If you were to look at it how I assume you meant it to be looked at, it could be seen as correct :). In terms of idle games, yes, there are idle games, a few of which I've played for a couple of moments. Their goal is to play out while the user chats on the side with others. There are also anti-idle games, the most renowned one, in my opinion. being Anti-Idle: The Game, whose goal is the
opposite of idle games (to have you prove you are, in fact, playing the game). You should look these up. I suspect you'll get ideas for enhancement :).
Side note: I too appear to be having focusing issues. When pressing space or down, the entire page scrolls down (or in the case of space, scrolls straight to the bottom). My browser is Firefox version 9.0.1.
Side side note: This is the first convo' I've had with a developer (and I'm not one myself), so do take what I say with a grain of salt. All I intend is to help, not hurt :).
:D I suppose you are in fact correct! :D Idle games: ftw! :) Hmm, ok, so I was testing on Firefox 8.01 first, worked, then updated (just now) to 9.0.1 and did not work, now I have 11 and down arrow works, while space slides.. weird, weird. so I will be adding an on-screen clickable button now.. Thanks a lot for your bug report, no salt taken! :)
If it were improved, this could be the next idle game. I'm serious. Think about it. A couple of buttons, activities, and an everlasting tetris game. Spend the idle points for things and you have an idle game. The title is witty (incorrect, but witty). I know this was probably intended as an April fools joke, but I see its potential. Okay, now bring on the disagreements ;)
Okay! :) I disagree with you about the title being incorrect - how do you figure that? (and please, lets consider one mino (square) a dot, can we, ok? Thanks. :) )
Also, had no idea there were such things as idle games, haha. What, does it need buttons and idle points? Is there a definition? :)
I like it so far. The only thing I see needing improvement is how the game handles the transition between swamping a pig and going to the next pig. The way it is now, I have 3 pigs. When 1 got swamped, 2 jumped out into another swamp and 3 jumped from THAT into yet another swamp. I just think that it makes the whole purpose of extra pigs almost useless since we now get that if you swamp ONE pig, say goodbye to the others...
From my first time-trial, I can say that this game has potential. I do however have one additional bug to report. I was logged into my kong account when I loaded this game. However, on the menu, it's telling me that I am not logged into my account and will show up as a guest. Is it possible to fix this? Other than that, and the cursorless problem, this game a great potential. If you can, I would even add a level designer ;)
I like this game! Sure, some jumps are pixel perfect (hey, it's a pixelated world!) and I found that finding that last pixel to upgrade yourself was sometimes tedious, but that's what makes this game all the more interesting. Some complain about the minimal margin of error for the jumps, but i think that this is exactly what sets this game apart from many...it's not as easy as you'd like. Overall, great game!
The concept is excellent, and I like the human vs. human setting. I also like the simplicity of the keypad shortcuts. For this concept, other than making the difficulties more obvious during play. I like beating Hard and feeling good about myself in Tic-Tac-Toe. However, sometimes the Hard AI doesn't see a winning move, which both saddens me (that it didn't.) and makes me happy (that it didn't!). But, overall, a great game. Other than improving the Hard AI, there is no way I can think of to improve this. Great work!
It has potential, however, at this state, I don't know if it's my perspective, but sometimes, what should rock the opponent's vehicle doesn't even put a scratch on it. If it weren't for this, and adding the couple of items that people have mentioned, I would definitely give this a 5/5. Until then, meh
I like it. Even though some of the plot makes no sense, as pointed out by many, the puzzle aspect, including getting "+" stars, is very entertaining. Also on the note of entertainment, Toshi's cute little sayings, such as, "help me handsome," and, my favourite, "ARE YOU BLIND?!" 5/5 is my vote ;)
It's a good game, I like it. The only thing I don't like, and I'm saying this mainly so others aren't confused, is that the bonus is NOT an addition question. It is a PATTERN question. Okay, that being said, it's a good brain workout :)
This game is part skill, but mostly luck. I've not even completed it yet and lost against opponents simply because with the gems they line up, it just so happens that they get combo after combo while I get *one* combo. Sure some pre-planning is nice when playing, but 90% is luck. Also, I don't understand how having a double-KO can cause a win (you're dead, and you can still defeat the other invaders??). Anyway, if this game becomes a more skill-based, rather than luck-based game, it would be better. Wow, I rant a lot.
I sit here, playing this game, notice that without using the hold-the-left-mouse-button trick, the game is impossible and therefore has an ending, making it finite. I remember looking at the preview pic and, like Chiizuka said, was very interested. I then played the game and was disappointed with the sheer fact that I have been tricked...again...and I wonder if for every good game out there there is one that is just the opposite? Long thought short, This is not a game, but a manipulation, and therefore doesn't belong on sites such as kongregate. Your comments to the people seem very childish as well, given that this was planned, or else would not be here, so, for all these reasons, if I could, I would give this a 0/5...unfortuanely, 1/5 will have to due :/
I can't figure out at this time what formula was used to create this game, nor what number this formula starts with as a base. However, on a note, this game does have pixelated graphics. However, keeping in mind that the near in-solvability of this puzzle, rather than the graphics, is why this game was created, I would give this a 4/5 ;)
I don't know if it's just me, but I can't figure out how to add any sort of sound to my layer. I tried all the in-game buttons as well as a-z on my keyboard, but I got nothing. Maybe if the instructions were more clear and/or if there was a mini-tutorial on startup I wouldn't be so confused. Anyway, I like the concept, though many other games use said concept, Notessimo to name one, but please please pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease make the instructions more clear in some way!!!
Okay, a few things. 1. The guy has HORRIBLE acceleration which makes him hard to control. 2. He drops about as fast as a feather. On a good note, the game does use some interesting concepts, such as invisible red blocks. However, at the moment, since I'm assuming that the game does freeze, I would rate it 1.5/5 If I could...
No. There is no end to this game. Sorry :( all the level just loop after they finish. There are infinite levels, all identical.
