Dual Gems people.
If you made the mistake of pure over dual change it now.
I did and it wasted a good 4 or 5 hours of needless level grinding.
With dual gem maxed + some other stats the gem of eternity is doable around level 80 or even earlier. I leveled to 100 to attempt it and had no problem.

The game type itself is pretty run of the mill but I enjoyed the lab tech aspect of creating and customising your blobs.
Fyi, I pronounce this as faggie wars. Not in a derogatory sense to the game designer or homosexuals but just for giggles.

No bugs as far as I can tell although there was a massive lag between me achieving the two easy and when I actually was awarded them.

For anyone having trouble basically just keep head east the entire level dont get caught up in fights. You may lose a life or so but thats fine. When you reach the end no more enemies spawn and you have 4 lives to clear the screen. Works everytime so far.
Bonus level 3 completed – Note that your line moves slightly slower on the bonus levels! Hells yeah. For anyone struggling on the bonus levels you need to wait for the perfect moment to cut the screen in half vertically. That can be done on all 3 bonus levels within the first 30 seconds of movement. Once you're down to 50% it's just a matter of waiting for chances to shave the rest off.tl;dr - win
