My only problem is balance issues... seems so far like the best thing to do is Sunset in the Jungle once you've got the score for it. Once you can afford some of the more expensive paints, you get rewarded more for doing the free one.

This game was actually pretty easy. I agree that the hit boxes are way, way too big, but other than that, just head shot stuff until you get the flame thrower, then use that until you get the flame launcher, then stick with that for the rest of the game.
You know that saying, "the candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long?" Totally applies here. Got all 4 achievements in my first run, so now I'm done. Really fun game, but super short.
This seems to be closer to testing particle physics than fluid dynamics. Each drop seems to be one or more small spheres surrounded by the blue goo we see stretching out to join with other goo. Still nifty, I just suggest you take this a step further and try to actually make a fluid.
It needs a tutorial, as many people have said, but also I think it would help if the items had more specific information, and I noticed that with the Steam Cannon, when I fired at the last enemy, for half of my shots the ball's animation put it in front of the enemy, then behind it the next frame, and thus was an automatic miss. I lost one match because of that glitch.
Other than that, I really do like the concept of this game, and want to see a sequel with more enemies and upgrades. 4/5
